Qualifications and Accreditations

Skills Construction Centre is an approved Construction Awards Alliance OSAT NVQ training provider.

As part of our approval process the centre is required to demonstrate a high level of quality of delivery of NVQ’s in line with the Awarding Body code of practice.  This governs our quality procedures to ensure that:

All assessors are occupationally competent and suitably qualified as well as ensuring that they undergo suitable CPD to maintain relevance and knowledge within the construction industry and NVQ practice.

Our internal Verification of NVQ delivery and certifications are robust and in line with National Occupation Standards and Awarding Body code of practice.

That our engagement with candidates and clients is fair, professional and relevant.

We have the appropriate procedures and policies in place covering areas such as equal opportunities, health & safety, data protection, recruitment, customer service and appeals procedures.

Our centre is externally verified by CAA, the awarding body, a minimum of twice yearly and all new qualifications and assessors are rigorously externally verified before full approval is given, so that candidates and employers can be assured that they are receiving the highest quality of training and accreditation from our centre.
